Description of the problem	I appreciate your hard work in establishing safety recall n49/nhtsa 13v-529 affecting 2008-2012 ram trucks where "the left tie rod ball stud may fracture causing loss of directional control and/or crash without warning." but, i contacted my dodge dealer in bellingham, wa on jan 6, 2014 as instructed by chrysler and have had 2 service appointments cancelled because they do not have the parts yet. My dealer is telling me that i may have to wait another 4 months or more. I am still number 15 on the list of over 70 requests and they tell me they are only allowed 1 part per week from the factory and sometimes don't even get that. I called 2 other dodge dealers in nw washington and got a similar story. One dealer told me the factory needed the parts to still make new trucks which is limiting the supply for the recall, but not to worry because he had only seen one serious steering failure from this problem so far...! Driving my truck with the thought of suddenly loosing steering control without warning for another 4 months doesn't make me feel all that safe or responsible. Nor the thought of all the other trucks out there that may have to wait another year or more to be fixed. Is this type of delay normal with such a serious recall? Thank you for your time and concern.
