Description of the problem	I went to the dealer for a state inspection. I was told that the front end steering parts needed to be replaced as it wasn't strong enough for the truck. I asked if it was recalled as it wasn't strong enough. They said no, and the only way they could correct with their parts was replace the whole system. (they would have gotten a part from a outside parts house to replace the one bad part). I believed them and had the whole system replaced for over $1100. It was the replaced system evidently that has been recalled. I have contacted a dealer closer to my winter home for the recall. I have been waiting for over two months for them to contact me that the parts were in. At the original time of me checking i was told the parts probably were not even made yet. Repeated checking is to no avail. I am told they only receive about one part ever two weeks, and they had my info and would call me. The problem could cause a crash! With the winter we have had, and we do plow with this vehicle, it should be a priority. They were contacted january 7th and we are now into march. The time has pasted on when this should be done.
