Description of the problem	I turned the steering wheel and felt a thump. Kept happening for a week so i decided to take it in to chrysler and have it looked at. Service informed me that the lower intermediate steering shaft needed replaced. The u=joint on the shaft was worn out, and needed replaced. This also happened on another dodge ram truck i own, but this truck is a 1998 dodge ram 1500. Cost is $395. 00 plus tax/supplies to repair.
