Description of the problem	Tl*the contact owned a 2007 dodge ram 2500. While driving 45 mph, the check engine light illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and they stated that the particulate filter was causing the failure. The technician cleaned the filter; however, the check engine light illuminated again a few weeks later. He took the vehicle to the dealer a second time for a computer upgrade that would clear all the codes in the vehicle. The engine light illuminated for the third time and the dealer stated that the vehicle was under a recall, in which they repaired the vehicle for free. The engine light illuminated for the fourth time a month later and the vehicle was returned to the dealer. They performed a second computer upgrade and also replaced the turbo. The engine light illuminated for the fifth time and the dealer replaced a valve and upgraded the vehicle again. At that time, the contact began researching the lemon law. The check engine light illuminated for the sixth and seventh time a month later. After the eighth failure, the dealer offered the contact a new vehicle. The contact now owns a 2008 dodge ram 2500. Within the first month of driving the vehicle, the check engine light illuminated. He took the vehicle to the dealer and they performed a computer upgrade. Two weeks prior to the upgrade, the check engine light illuminated again. The engine light illuminated for the third time two weeks after the upgrade. The vehicle is currently at the dealer. All the repairs were performed under warranty. The failure mileage was 500 and current mileage was 1,906.
