Several (6-8) episodes over 1 month period. Required decrease of speed from highway speeds to less than 30 mph or even full stop to end episode. In one particular episode (8/11/10)was towing up an incline on a two lane highway was forced to slow from 65 mph to 25mph while trying to move onto narrow shoulder to avoid danger with other traffic behind us. Despite no noted worn out suspension components (inspected by independent and dealer mechanics, some tie rod wear noted only) repair involved replacing steering components, pitman arm, tie rods & ball joints. Dealer retained old parts. |
