| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2005 dodge ram 2500. While driving approximately 80 mph, the vehicle vibrated abnormally. Within seconds, a loud noise was heard under the vehicle. The driver was able to coast onto the road shoulder and found unknown parts had separated from the vehicle while driving. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the transfer case, constant velocity joint, universal joint, fuel lines, and brakes lines failed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified. The approximate failure mileage was 270,000. |
