| Description of the problem | 2004 dodge ram. Consumer writes in regards tie rods and steering malfunction. *smd the consumer stated he received a recall notice in february 2013. The dealer inspected the vehicle, and stated there was no issue. However, in june 2013, while driving, the vehicle started to shimmy extremely hard. He was able to maintain control of the vehicle, and drove to a repair shop. An inspection revealed the tie rods were so worn, the steering damper broke. *jb |
