| Description of the problem | My truck is a 2004 dodge ram 2500 with a diesel engine in it. I got it used. It is an automatic. Over the past year or so i have had to take it in to the dealer for an intense vibration and squealing coming from the rear end. The vibration is from around 25 to 40 mph and the again at 70 or so. The dealer replaced u-joins and the rear drive shaft a few times. Today is the second time that they are replacing drive shaft. This is the 5th time over the past two years i have had it in for this problem. They told me this is a common problem on these trucks and they are working on a fix. The truck is only two years old and only has in the range of 60,000 miles on it. *jb |
