Description of the problem	We have a 2010 dodge ram 1500 with approximately 32000 miles the hvac actuator gears on our vehicle are broken. I have found that there was a recall for this very thing for 2010 dodge ram trucks. However when i called chrysler i was told my vin # was not included in this recall. Because it was manufactured at a different plant. The cost of this repair is approximately $1000. 00 i have a letter that was sent to the affected owners it was marked notification code k17 it is titled: reprogram hvac control head and inspect/replace actuators.
