Description of the problem	It is -15 degrees fahrenheit today in wisconsin at noon. Something in the hvac system quit working. The heat works great, but when i change the selector from floor/vent/defrost nothing happens. The heat only blows on the floor. I hear a constant (flapping) noise from under the dash board. I have tried several times starting and turning off the truck, adjusting the selector knob to apply the air to all positions and it still only blows on my feet. Keeps on flapping under the dash board. How is it (safe) to drive without having operational windshield defrost. I looked online at several forums and have seen many others with the same problem. Hopefully they will report the problem as i am doing now. Its going to be cold tonight again since it will be winter around here for another 2-3 months, so i hope i am safe till it get fixed. I truly hope this report gets fixed as this in my opinion is a serious safety issue. Its like driving blind or myself and others with this problem may as well be texting and driving if we cant see out the windshield. Sorry if this comes off with an attitude. Not intended that way.
