Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2010 dodge ram 1500 st. The contact made numerous attempts to start the engine before the engine started. When the gear was shifted from park into drive, and while applying the brakes, an unintended acceleration occurred. The engine rpms began to increase and repeated pressure was applied to the brake pedal, followed by a slow delayed response. The gear selector was put into the neutral position, then the vehicle traveled approximately one hundred feet and came to a complete stop, and immediately the engine stalled. The manufacturer and dealer were notified of the failure. The manufacturer advised that the vehicle be taken to a dealer for further investigation. The manufacturer accepted responsibilty for the towing expense. The contact had significant concern of the safety issue involved. The failure mileage was less than a 1,000.
