Description of the problem	Chrysler sent me a safety recall notice n08/nhtsa 13v-038 in april of 2013. This is for trucks with a 9. 28" rear axle it states that the pinion nut may be built without an adhesive patch on the pinion threads. The lack of this adhesive patch could allow the rear axle pinion nut to loosen and/or the rear driveshaft to separate from the rear axle. A loose pinion nut could cause the rear axle to seize and a separated driveshaft could cause a loss of motive power. Either situation could cause a crash without warning. The dealer states that chrysler has not informed them of the fix not supplied the parts. They also stated that chrysler would contact me when the figured out what to do. I waited a while and called chrysler in may and they had me bring the vehicle in for an inspection at the dealer. The dealer told me that everything looked tight at this point to wait for chrysler to come up with the fix and contact me. To date they have not contacted me.
