Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2009 dodge ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving 60 mph, the vehicle abnormally accelerated to 115 mph. The contact noticed that the accelerator had become stuck in the open throttle position and he then attempted to dislodge the accelerator pedal in order to stop the unintended acceleration. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis and repairs. The dealer replaced the accelerator pedal and removed the floor mat however, the failure recurred after repairs. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer yet the dealer was unable to diagnose the failure. The contact called manufacturer and was advised to take the vehicle back to the dealer for further diagnostic testing but again, the dealer was unable to diagnose the failure. The vehicle was not further repaired. The contact was concerned with the safety hazard involved in the failure and was concerned with the potential of being involved in a crash.
