Description of the problem	2008 dodge ram 1500 quad cab, milage: 27471, date: 5/26/11, time 7:30am, location: i475-us23, speed: 65 mph. Original owner / original tires. Event: tpms warning light illuminated followed abruptly by flapping sound. Struggled to maintain control and pull to side of highway. Discovered flat tire and absence of tire valve stem on left rear tire. No visible puncture to tire sidewall and/or tread. Dealer found stem/sensor inside tire. No failure to tire other than secondary damage to sidewall (unsafe). Dealer replaced tpms sensor/valve assembly under warranty. Inspection of remaining tire valves at owners request resulted in a verbal "all ok." offered to replace tire at owners expense. **tt
