Description of the problem	Just recently, my 2008 dodge ram 1500 quad cab, 4x2 will stall right after filling the tank with fuel. Within the first mile this truck has stalled at least three times. Once enough fuel has been burnt, the truck will run fine until the next fill up and the condition returns. When this happens, steering and brakes are lost creating an extremely hazardous condition and could end in a collision. This also happens when making turns or maneuvering through traffic. I have read that several others have had this same thing happen with their trucks. I have been told that my truck needs a new fuel tank assembly since the defective part is not serviceable as it is plastic welded inside the fuel tank. I am hoping that an investigation will be opened and a recall on these tanks is initiated to prevent vehicles from stalling in the middle of an intersection and creating a potentially life threatening situation.
