Description of the problem	I bought a 2008 dodge 1500 st quad cab pickup truck new in november of 2008. In february of 2010 cranked my truck one morning an the truck made a loud tapping noise on the passenger, then stopped. I contacted the dodge dealership and explained what happened. Because it was out of warranty i had to make arrangement for a loaner. I brought the truck in on 07/19/2008 at 10:00 a. M. And they called me and said they completed the work which included removing the cam shaft and installing a new one and the rack lifters on the passenger side. The truck has 57,000 miles and oil is changed every 4,200 miles. There was no explanation to why this happen but i am very disappointed and truly dissatisfied with the run around i received. My driver door is another problem which occur two weeks after i received the truck. They adjusted the doors 4 times and now they are saying because of the mileage that is out of warranty i would have to file a compliant like i did with the lifters to dodge corp for approval. I will never by another dodge after this.
