Description of the problem	I was told the clock spring was the cause of the clicking noise. When the tech got into the steering to replace the clock spring it was not the problem. The problem was the steering column. This could be a safety problem if the steering column should lock up while i was driving my truck. The only way to fix the problem and make my truck safe again was to replace the steering column.
