Description of the problemDriver's seatbelt was properly buckled and would not release when arrived at home. After attempting to free the buckle and sitting in the truck for nearly an hour, my family member finally arrived home and had to cut the belt to release me. Thank god this incident did not involve a collision or fire. Reported the issue to chrysler customer assistance on the same evening via email. Still working to resolve the matter, nearly a month later. Seatbelt remains stuck in buckle and unable to be released. I refuse to pay $516 to have this repaired. This is apparently a faulty design; and i'm not the only one complaining about the 07 ram 1500 seatbelts. My truck is still immaculate in condition and very well maintained. It is driven 100 highway miles per day to work; hence the high mileage. Not one problem with this truck until now. I'm very disappointed in dodge (chrysler) and the dealer in leaving this matter unresolved. No seatbelt should ever fail.....
