Description of the problem	I own a 2007 dodge ram 1500 4. 7l qc. Purchased new. I have had numerous incidents where the vehicle has shut off when braking upbruptly to a stop. At times while stopped, the truck idles high and the truck surges forward then shut off completely. I have to put in park and restart the truck. There has been times while in a the middle of a busy intersection when it would die. I have had other cars have to stop or maneuver away from me to avoid collision. It is at the point where i am afraid to drive this in heavy traffic. I have taken to the shop where they said it was a sticky egr valve. But it still continues. The dealership only wants to patch the problem then send you off. I am not suprise there hasnt be a fatally with this issue.
