| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2006 dodge ram 1500. The contact stated that while shifting into reverse, the vehicle abnormally accelerated to 15 mph before the contact was able to stop the vehicle. The contact stated that the brakes were depressed while the failure occurred but the vehicle did not come to a stop until the vehicle was shifted into park. The dealer ran a diagnostic but was unable to duplicate the failure. The dealer then advised that there was a sticky substance on the throttle body that could have caused the failure.
