Description of the problem	Tl*the contact owns a 2006 dodge ram 1500. The contact stated that the rear center seat belt retractor failed. She attempted to install her child safety seat in the rear of the vehicle and noticed that the center seat belt would not retract properly. The local dealer stated that there was a recall regarding a different seat belt pertaining to that year, make, and model vehicle. The contact informed the dealer that the seat belt failure was in a different location. The contact was referred to the manufacturer and she wrote a letter to them, which proved to be successful. The manufacturer stated that they had no record of her vehicle being taken to the dealer. The dealer stated that the manufacturer could assist; however, the manufacturer referred her back to the dealer.
