| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2006 dodge ram 1500. While driving, the contact heard a loud noise coming from the clutch when all of a sudden the clutch sensor bearing failed. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the clutch fan and throwout bearing needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided case number: [xxx]. The approximate failure mileage was 189,000. *tt the consumer stated 3weeks after new clutch and fan, the transmission went out.
