Description of the problem	While driving at 55 mph on the freeway, a noise and vibration occurred in the rear of the vehicle. Stopped the vehicle and found that the fluid had leaked out of the rear pinion bearing housing. Had the vehicle towed to a shop and they found that the pinion nut was loose, the pinion bearings were chewed up, the pinion gear was bent, and the rear end pinion bearing housing was scarred. Vehicle required a complete replacement of the entire rear axle assembly. This occurred at 80,000 miles. There are 17 different complaints on this nhtsa website about this issue for the 2006 model. Yet there is recall #14v79600 which covers only 2005 and 2009-2012 model years. Why is 2006 not covered when there have been 17 complaints of the same thing on this website alone? Please issue a recall for 2006 as well.
