Description of the problem	I was attempting to make a left turn off the highway, and when i signalled for a left turn with the turn signal, the instrument cluster showed a signal for right turn. I pulled into the left turn lane, and the car which was behind me and continuing straight slowed down and refused to go by me, even though i was in the left turn lane and they had a clear path ahead. This indicated to me that the taillights were also indicating a right turn. There was no accident as a result of this, but the normal flow of traffic on the highway was disrupted. Since this incident, i have watched closely and the multifunction switch has done the same thing several times intermittently. We live near a busy highway in the country, and often when someone is slowing down to make a right turn, the traffic behind will pass on the left. If someone is actually making a left turn, but the signal is showing right, this could lead to a fatal collision. I contacted chrysler, and they simply told me to get it fixed and hang onto the receipts in case there is a recall. I also found that 2006 dodge 3500 pickups did have an extended warranty on the multifunction switch for this reason.
