| Description of the problem | Multi-function turn signal/windshield wiper control handle on left side of steering wheel column. The defect was causing the turn signals to flash right to left when in the right turn position. I took it in for repair just a day or two after noticing the problem. The dealer service writer said there was a short in the switch and they replaced it. The vehicle was approximately two months out of warranty and my bill was approximately $300. 00. I believe this to be a safety issue and would expect functioning equipment for more than three years/36000 miles. My vehicle had 35,000 miles on it at the time of repair. I was not offered the old part. |
