| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2006 dodge ram 1500. While driving approximately 35 mph the radio turned off and the an air bag light began illuminating on the dashboard. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the contact was told that the clock spring needed to be replaced. An authorized dealer was notified and the contact was informed there was a waiting list of approximately 350 people for the parts necessary to complete the repairs. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact also stated the vehicle would shake intermittently while driving approximately 25 mph. The failure mileage was 26,000 and the current mileage was 30,407. |
