| Description of the problem | Truck swerved to miss a dear in the road, when turning back, left front wheel came off truck, spindle shaft broke at bearing, causing truck to roll over, truck was totaled and driver injured, a couple small contusions, hit head and bruised elbow. Truck had 12000 miles on it. No correction taken, truck is totaled. When wheel came off truck, truck was starting to skid, wheel did not come into contact with anything but the paved surface, was not struck by anything. I believe the spindle shaft failed, witch should not fail under such conditions, i am a certified ford technician. It should take a very hard impact for the spindle to fail if at all. *nm |
