| Description of the problem | Bought a 2005 dodge ram 1500 4x4 laramie quad cab used with 38000 mi. With new brakes & tires. At 42000mi a heavy vibration occurred, which turned out to be warped rotors. Since it was just out of warranty, i replaced all rotors & brakes (i am maintenance in the army). Then, at 51500mi the rotors warped again. I have read of many, many other owners with the same problem. I live a block from my job and don't drive very much. I also don't tow either, nor do i "slam" the brakes. I drive very slow & cautious, so there is no reason this should happen. This needs to be recalled & dodge needs to make good on their "tough truck". |
