| Description of the problem | While driving down the highway the drive shaft fell off the truck at the differential side. The pinion gear fell into the housing locking the rear end up. I hit my head on the side window, and my back has been hurting ever since. The pinion gear was not broken, the only thing missing was the nut. It cost over $2500 out of my pocket to fix and a rental car. My truck is a 2005 dodge ram 1500 slt 4x4. ... Updated 01/07/15 *bf |
