| Description of the problem | My son was pulling his truck out from an intersection and was fortunately only going 20-30 mph at the time and the rear axle seized up causing the drive shaft to completely disconnect and fall off. The truck was completely immovable for almost an hour. He and a friend were finally able to push it backwards off of the road into a parking lot. We incurred a $100 towing bill, plus over $4000 in repairs. He was very lucky that this occurred when it did and not while going faster in a more populated area. |
