Description of the problem	I have a 2005 dodge ram 1500 truck, and have had an issue that started as just a starting problem, it would take a few tries to start the truck; and no dealer or private mechanic could tell me what was the problem, even though there was an engine light on. The problem recently got more severe, and dangerous, i was driving to work and after finally starting and driving for a few miles, the engine just turned off; right in the middle of the road, no brakes, no engine, no steering.... The key was turned in the on position and the air and radio was still working but the engine was off; upon searching for a solution to this problem online, i came upon a link that the nhtsa was looking into the matter, because this problem seems to be fairly widespread based on an internet search, so i thought i would send this in to see if there was any new info, or if there could be a solution to this dangerous issue.
