| Description of the problem | 2004 dodge ram 1500 - brake rotor failure the brake rotors have failed 3 times on the vehicle. The rotors were failed by 9000 miles, 18000 miles, and 24000 miles. The dealer replaced the first two with oem equipment. Dodge claims there is no problem and that this is considered a maintenance item. Vehicle was driven almost exclusively on highway traffic for the 18000 to 24000 mile interval. The 24000 mile rotor replacement was done with performance aftermarket components. *jb |
