| Description of the problem | Rear retaining nut on drive shaft came off letting drive shaft with yoke attached fall to the pavement as i was pulling up to the toll booth entrance. Resulting in the rear end locking up and causing the truck to come to a sudden stop. This was a 5:15 when traffic was very heavy i put on flashers got out and used a flashlight to wave traffic to change lanes. There has been a recall on 2004 / 2005 dodge rams for exactly this same problem but my truck vin # wasn't included. |
