| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2004 dodge ram 1500. While coasting across railroad tracks, the vehicle stalled when the accelerator pedal was depressed. The vehicle restarted within minutes of stalling. There was electrical power, but the engine was not running. There were no warning indicators illuminated prior to the failure. The failure has occurred at least three times within the last two years, in which the dealer reprogrammed the powertrain control module. The failure mileage was 44,000.
