Description of the problem	Dt: the contact stated the air bags did not deploy when the vehicle hit a telephone pole and tree. The front passenger side of the vehicle was damaged. The vehicle was going approximately 60 mph. The contact sustained injuries. He tore a ligament in left shoulder, and had stiffness in neck and back, there was bleeding from his nose. The vehicle was totaled at that time. He stated daimler/chrysler did an investigation as to why the air bags did not deploy. He has not yet received any information from them.*ak
