Description of the problem	At the beginning of february of 2015 i received an "important safety recall" letter with a p78 notification code. I have called the chrysler dealership several times and have been informed each time that there are no parts to repair the recall issue. So i drive around in an unsafe truck??? Called chrysler today and was informed they have no estimated time for arrival of parts required to make my vehicle safe!! Other issue is that same vehicle's dashboard splintered and fell apart, forcing me to replace the dashboard. I sent chrysler a request for reimbursement of the dashboard (did not charge for labor, just dashboard), in the amount of $295. 68 -- and they refuse to reimburse me for a manufacturer's defect!!! It is all over the internet that these dashboards fall apart -- yet they refuse to assume any responsibility, saying there is no recall issued for this problem. A dashboard that splinters and cracks, for no apparent reason, is not a safety issue??? I was told by chrysler that the dashboard falls apart because of "environmental issues" (i. E. Humidity, air). Just goes to show you how poorly made these dashboards are!! Thank you for your consideration.
