Description of the problem | Dodge ram 1500 lst cracking dash vertically and horizontally and now chunks of it falling through. This is a manufacturer's defect and safety issue! It is also a nationwide issue as noted by hundreds and hundreds of lodged complaints and questions as to how to deal with this on multiple forums on the internet. Took my truck in to dealership to have it detailed and vacuuming dust out caused more cracks and actually pieces fell through so i have jagged edges. Anyone should be able to vacuum their dash! Dodge needs to recall this dashboard across numerous model years beginning 2000. The jagged edges are a safety issue as will be the exposed wiring when the other cracks cave in. I want this replaced and i should not have to pay for $1000 for it. |
