| Description of the problem | I have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 that i've owned 6 years. After about a year the dash started to crack on its own. I progressively got worse to the point that large pieces were falling under the dash frame. I've taken the truck it the dodge dealer several times and they said that it would cost me around $800 to have it replaced. To me this is a safety hazard in that the already loose pieces as well as other that would brake off in a wreck could cause bodily harm, mostly to the face and eyes. |
