Description of the problem	Hello: this complaint deals with the cracking dashboard on the 2001 dodge ram 1500 slt. The cracks really started and became noticeable when the truck had 30,000 miles on it. Now there are several large cracks and a large hole in the dash. This truck is not used offroad.... It mostly sits. Right now it only has 42,000 miles on it. I have checked on the internet and found this is not an unusual problem.... Many owners have this problem. I have contacted the main dodge website.... Twice.... They act like this is no problem and they have not heard of such issues. I checked my local dodge dealership.... They way they talked.... They were aware of the issue. I know there is not a lot they can do.... The help will have to come from headquarters. To me.... Dodge should take care of this problem. Especially if they get bailout money basically from me and other taxpayers. Thank you for your time and help. God bless.....
