Description of the problem	The passenger sliding door is stuck in the locked position and will not open. The lock electronic lock switch will not disengage, the automatic door mechanism will not work, and the door will not function in manual mode. As a van with passengers in the back, this is posing a safety hazard with people having to exit the van on the side facing traffic. If the drivers side sliding door fails in a similar fashion, a greater safety would result if people cant egress the vehicle. The local dodge dealer indicates this is a common issue and that there is no recall for this issue.
