| Description of the problem | The door locks on both sliding passenger doors failed. There is no manual lock to be able to ingress and egress the vehicle. It started with an obnoxious buzzing sound when the lock or unlock button was pressed. It quickly then stopped working at all so that passengers have to climb in through the rear. This is not acceptable for elderly people or very small children. It is a dangerous situation in an emergency and highly annoying to say the least in day to day usage. This happened when the vehicle was just two years old! Not acceptable! Just wait until somebody is trapped in a dangerous situation that leads to death or severe injury. There should always be a manual way to enter and exit a vehicle. |
