Description of the problem	Etm was stuck merging onto a highway while accelerating. Vehicle accelerated itself. Had to pull over and turn the car off to get it to reset. Vehicle would would redline rpm's while braking. Happened approx. November 2015. Hasn't happened again. Then a couple months later the clockspring behind the steering wheel went out rendering the horn and all steering controls (volume, cruise control, etc.) useless. It also caused the driver side airbag light to remain constantly on.
