Description of the problem	We purchased a 2014 dodge grand caravan in february 2015 with 18k miles on it. Our dual ac/heat controls worked fine until april 2016. At that time, the passenger side controls only provided heat no matter how many times you flip the temperature control back and forth. When you run the ac, the drivers side works fine but must shut the vents off on the passenger side because of the hot air. I have researched this problem on multiple dodge forums and other sites and and it appears that dodge has been having this issue since the 2011 models came out. This is an obvious defect and needs to be addressed so the problem can be fixed. Since this has just occurred in the last couple of months i have not been to get to a dealer to find out what it would cost but the estimates i have seen or outrageous. Many people have indicated it is the actuator door, update to firmware and even replacement of an hvac unit (?). This is not a one-time issue with one vehicle. This problem is growing and needs to be addressed.
