| Description of the problem | 2014 dodge caravan w/ about 80,000 miles had a p-0302 cylinder misfire-code. This was caused by a bearing failure on rocker rocker arm on left side, approximately 3 months after the 6 year power train warranty ran out. Cylinder misfires were intermittent and caused rough idling. The van is not driven roughly and this is very early in the engine's life for something like that to happen. It seems to be a fairly common issue with this model car / engine, indicating something wrong with the design... |
