| Description of the problem | I flipped on my brights, while driving at night on back roads. The dash lights all lit up, the light brightness began blinking in and out, and even the radio switched off and on. When i turned the brights off, the airbag light stayed lit, then the stability assist light lit back up. I flipped the brights on again, with the same result as the first time. I have since been made aware that the tipm is faulty. I had a problem with the airbag light at mile 172 when i first bought the vehicle new. At that time, i was told that the original tipm was faulty and it was replaced. 55000 miles on the vehicle, and we are working on tipm number three. Both of our tipm issues have involved airbag function, which makes this a dangerous problem. |
