Description of the problem	The "clock spring" behind the steering wheel broke which caused the steering wheel located electrical buttons to stop functioning for making uconnect phone calls, adjusting the radio volume, switching from one media (fm,am,cd, audio streaming and satellite radio) to another, accessing the dash panel odometer, outside temperature, digital speedometer reading, avg mpg, miles to go before running out of fuel and the reset function. This happened whether or not the vehicle was moving or turning or stationary.
