Description of the problem	2013 dodge caravan. Consumer writes in regards to transmission problems. smd a few days after the vehicle was purchased, the consumer heard a noise coming from the transmission, while driving in economy mode. Also, the engine was changing into a faster gear while trying to drive in normal gear. The consumer returned the vehicle to the dealer on 2 separate occasions. The mechanics stated there was nothing wrong. The vehicle continued to act abnormal, with the gears changing to a faster gear, when it wasn't initiated. When the consumer left the dealer and turned onto a busy street, the van appeared to leave driving gear, with the motor racing and would not move until the engine was turned off and back into drive gear again. The consumer returned to the repair shop again, only to be told his wife did not know how to drive. The consumer stated the transmission would slip out of gear, but no one could duplicate the problem. On 2 occasions, while the cruise control was set, the vehicle went to passing gear for no reason. It also happened when the vehicle was not set on cruise control. A year later, the problems continued. The vehicle accelerated on its own, the vehicle slowed down to 25 mph, the consumer had to push the accelerator to the floor, before it would change speed using the passing gear. jb
