| Description of the problem | Vehicle has abruptly shut down during operation at speeds greater than 60 mph. I was able to safely guide vehicle to an available shoulder area and restart. The shut down came with dash lights of service engine soon and battery light. These lights have been simultaneous and intermittent. Vehicle was taken into the dealer and the dealer indicated that a ob computer software upgrade was required and uploaded. I was charged a diagnosis fee for this. The upload appears to have cured the service engine light but the battery light has returned. |
