| Description of the problem | This issue happened just this morning when the van was parked in my driveway and i attempted to open the sliding door on the passenger side of the van. I have attempted to open it many other times this morning while parked at my office with no success. It worked fine last night. The passenger door will not open or close either manually, using the automatic switch or the key fob. It makes a noise like it is trying to work, but then shuts off after a few seconds. This is an obvious safety issue if there were to be anybody needing to get out that door in case of an emergency. Apparently (per the internet) this is a well know issue with dodge. |
