| Description of the problem | My heat in the grand caravan stopped blowing heat in -10 below weather. I called dodge customer service and they said take the vehicle to a dealer and have the issue diagnosed and call them back. The hvac system needed to be updated apparently ( which means im not the only person that had this issue and is no fault of my own) and would cost $105 to reprogram the system. I called dodge and they said nothing could be done as it was no longer under factory warranty even though their system programming was faulty. This is a safety concern as it has been one of the coldest winters on record and i purchased this van with 34000 miles on it june of 2014 to transport my 4 month old baby and ive only put 6000 miles on it. *js |
